ABOUT

Casey Gould is a Melbourne-born theatre director, acting coach and dramaturge. His work encompasses theatre, musical theatre, cabaret and physical theatre. His work has won and been nominated for Green Room awards, Fringe awards in Melbourne, Sydney and Edinburgh and toured extensively throughout Australia and overseas.

 

He graduated from the University of Ballarat with a degree in Music Theatre and after a few years performing professionally transitioned to directing. He has since been back to direct students at Ballarat and continues to teach and lecture alongside his creative projects. He recently spent two years working in London participating in the Young Vic directors program and observing rehearsals for Follies and Pinocchio at the National Theatre.  

 

Casey is also a founder and co-company director of Music Theatre Workshop

He is passionate about creating new work, helping writers develop their work and collaborating on new projects
